How Blazdell Consultancy collects and uses personal information.
Last updated 26 September 2026
1. Who we are
Blazdell Consulting Ltd, trading as Blazdell Consultancy, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11667742, with its registered office at 39 Birch Road, Ambrosden, Bicester, OX25 2RX, United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at blazdell@blazdellconsultancy.com.
2. The information we collect
- When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- When you book a call. Calls are booked through Calendly. We receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address and any notes, along with the time you choose.
- When you use the scorecard. Your answers are processed entirely in your own browser and are not sent to us. To let you pick up where you left off, your answers are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device, and you can clear them at any time using the scorecard’s “Start over” button or your browser settings. If you choose to email us your results, we receive what you send.
- When you work with us. If you become a client, we hold business contact details and information needed to deliver the engagement and manage our relationship.
- Technical information. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the website. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when it requests them.
3. How and why we use it
- To respond to your enquiries and arrange calls, based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver services and manage client relationships, as necessary to perform our contract with you or your organisation.
- To keep records for accounting, tax and legal purposes, to comply with our legal obligations.
- To keep our website secure and working properly, based on our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your personal data. We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked to receive them or are an existing client, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, including Google Workspace (email), Calendly (bookings) and Cloudflare (website hosting). They process personal data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms. Some of these providers may transfer data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law apply. We may also share information with our professional advisers or where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client and financial records are kept for up to seven years after an engagement ends, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only information stored on your device is the scorecard progress described above, which is used solely to provide the scorecard you are using. Calendly and LinkedIn may set their own cookies if you visit their websites.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email blazdell@blazdellconsultancy.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
